This page is for anyone sizing a connection for Remotle sessions.
Bandwidth
Section titled “Bandwidth”Remotle adjusts the picture to the connection. As a guide, at full quality each screen uses up to:

| 2560 x 1440 | 40 Mbps |
| 3840 x 2160 | 80 Mbps |
These are peaks while the screen is changing. A still desktop uses far less. The Responsive mode uses 40% of these figures.
The Stats tab of the session menu shows the bitrate a session is using now, updated every second, with the latency and the path in use.
On a slower connection, choose the Smooth preset on the Picture tab of the session menu. Smooth is designed for connections under 5 Mbps.
